Wife Loves It
We had just made the switch over to using pellets, so I decided to get this as a gift for my wife. She loves it and it works great.

Just One Improvement Needed
I love the look of this pellet pail, and it is quite useful for keeping twenty-something pounds of pellets within easy reach of your stove. I have only had one problem with it. Whenever I go to pour the pellets in the hopper, the spout is so wide that some of the pellets spill out unless I pour slowly. I think if they made it thinner it would solve the problem.

Scoop's A Little Flimsy
Although the bucket itself feels solid as a rock, I don't think the handle will stay on the scoop for that long.

Works As You Would Expect a Bucket To
Anyone who has to haul those forty pound monstrosities into the house realizes that it is a pain to lug those bags around just to put pellets into your stove. This bucket has been a wonderful pellet container for us. Works perfectly (I mean, it's a bucket).

Easy To Use
Actually having a handle on the back of the bucket makes it much easier to get the pellets into the hopper. We usually just pour the pellets in the bucket from the bag itself, so we don't really use the scoop that much. I could see how someone who can't lift the bag could use the scoop to help.

Better Than A Vacuum...
Any of you who have used a wet-dry vacuum realize that they are a marvelous invention. They are very versatile and durable, but there are some things they are just not designed to do. Cleaning ash is not one of them. The ash particles are just too small, so they will choke up your vacuum after a while. Anyway, this scoop is excellent for getting the ash from our smoker, and having a nice bucket to put them in is perfect. If we have any other problems with cleaning ash, we will definitely not be using the wet-dry.
