I would like to have the shed off the ground. What should I use to raise and support the foundation kit?
1 Answer
I apologize, but we do not have any recommendations for lifting this unit. That is considered a personal preference.

I have the FB1014 foundation kit. I have the foundation together, but I am concerned that I might have it upside down. The instructions say to make sure the holes are to the center, but it looks like the holes are on the bottom in the picture. if they are on the bottom, how do you pull out the plywood on it? Tthere must be a reason they say to put holes toward the center! I know to use drywall screws, but where do they go? Please help me understand how to proceed with this.

The channeling that makes up this foundation kit should be positioned so that the channel opening faces down - similar to the letter "n". The center facing holes listed in the manual refer to the holes in the tabs at the ends of the 10192 lengths. These tabs are intended to be bent down and dropped into the 10192 lengths running across the length of the shed floor.

Good Base for Shed
This floor provided a good base for my shed and was easy to assemble. I found that some of the parts were excluded, but I called the company; the missing parts were shipped immediately.

Needs More Support
This is a good idea for a shed floor, but I think it needs more support ribs. It came with long support ribs as well two small ribs, but I would like to have had more.

Strong Frame
This has a strong frame. The instructions advise you to use nails, but I prefer self-tapping screws so the boards will not warp.

Easy Installation
This kit assembles and installs easily and secures the shed well. I chose to use screws to fasten it to the plywood rather than nails, which were recommended. I think the price is a little too high.

Instant Patio
For the size and price, this floor is a great way to have a patio floor wherever you need it. I can move it to another location easily and clean it effortlessly. In full sunlight, it doesn't get hot enough to burn bare feet.
