This Coleman Krypton 2 person backpacking tent was primarily constructed for two hikers or campers. It offers a safe and comfortable overnight shelter from the elements. The sleeping compartment is well ventilated, which is really important. Furthermore, a separate screened in area provides space to store belongings while sleeping. A color-coded system makes assembly and disassembly a cinch. The entire tent with all its accessories weighs just 7.7 pounds. Included with the gear is a bag with drawstrings for storing all the equipment.

A camp a lot, but have always had trouble paying a ton of money for so-called "high quality" tents. I found a Coleman summer backpacking tent that was as good (if not better) than most tents costing five times as much years ago. This year, during my search for a winter tent, I wondered the same, and stumbled upon this one. The day after it arrived, the temps dropped to 30 overnight. Once again, Coleman has produced a tent that performs as good as tents costing much more. I was very impressed and pleased that I found this website. I can't wait for ice climbing to start!
