However, with this HomeSaver UltraPro rain cap for collar plate you can prevent that from occuring. This piece is specifically designed to fit with a 4 inch chimney liner. Smoke from the chimney will flow freely out the 3/4 inch meshing. There is also no need to worry about screws or pop rivets with this unit since it comes with a band connection clamp. While intended to be used with a collar plate, the collar plate itself is sold separately.
