The Innsbrook Large Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert contains a 35,000 BTU Slope Glaze Flair Burner that allows for a realistic natural-looking flame with an up to 77% AFUE efficiency burn. The flame temperature and height are easily controlled at the touch of a button, and a quiet automatic blower is built in to keep the heat circulating. Propane and natural gas models are available, and it comes with a 3-year limited warranty. Fireplace minimum opening requirements are: Front Width - 33 1/2, Rear Width - 22", Height - 23 3/8", and Depth - 14 1/4".
* Please Note: This item must be installed by a licensed professional in order for the manufacturer's warranty to be valid.
* Also Note: Insert requires a separately purchased surround for installation.

Answer:
Yes, if you have an appropriately-sized fireplace into which to install it, and a functioning chimney inside of which you can run the co-linear (side-by-side) 3" diameter aluminum gas liners required for venting. These units must be installed into a full masonry fireplace. They cannot be simply framed into an opening.
