Can this product be installed on the floor of the fireplace as a liner below gas logs? Does it provide an insulation layer that reduces heat transfer to the concrete floor that is currently in my firebox? How thick is the brick?

Answer:
No, this ceramic fiber liner is only for use inside select Monessen vent-free fireplaces. It is not a universal item. The only universal replacement panels we offer are for manufactured woodburning fireplaces.
