Ambient has a variety of remote controls to fit your needs. Most people don't enjoy getting up each time they want to turn their heating appliances on or off or to change a setting on one of those appliances. This simple-to-use remote will make your life a lot easier as it provides the convenience of turning your appliances off and on or controlling the temperature for that same appliance. There is also a child-safety switch installed, assuring that your child cannot simply pick it up and turn on anything without your knowledge. If you leave it sitting and forget about it, there is an automatic turn-off setting after 6 hours. This is for use with Millivolt or 24V systems.

Delivered before promised date. Easy to install batteries provided. Fits in the hand easily. Works perfectly. I especially like the thermostat control for my gas fired logs. It's a wonderful item and the price was the best I could find after asking the installer of the new logs and looking on the internet.
