The Empire SR6 Infrared Vent-Free Gas Heater - Natural Gas economically produces 6000 BTUs of clean heat. The heater does not need venting and can be mounted on a wall or on the floor. It heats entirely without electricity and has a pilot ignition system. Safety features include an automatic shut off and an oxygen depletion sensor. It comes in propane gas and natural gas models. The Empire SR6 Infrared Vent-Free Gas Heater - Natural Gas is manufactured by Empire Comfort Systems and features a five year limited warranty.

* Please Note: This heater is not designed for use when placed on the floor. To ensure proper safety and cost efficiency, place the heater on the Empire Heater Stand, product # CUI-SRS18 which is sold separately (See Accessories tab above for complete product information).

I have this heater except in propane. Can I get a kit to change it to natural gas?

Answer:

Because of the potential dangers of an incorrect conversion, manufacturers do not produce conversion kits for vent-free heaters. The heaters are produced to burn only the fuel for which they are originally configured.
