This Vail Premium natural gas fireplace by Empire, is a 36 in. fireplace that is vent free, and comes with a blower. The burner generates 36,000 BTUs of heat with 99.9 percent efficiency, and has a built in modulating hydraulic thermostat. The ceramic pellets in the burner tumble and create a natural looking flame effect, and this unit comes with the reliable piezo ignitor, plus an oxygen depletion safety sensor. This fireplace also includes a matte black hood, matte black slat louvers, and the hem-bent seams eliminate unreliable screws and fasteners.
