This See-Thru fireplace by Vail is a vent free design that is sure to please your family and friends. It requires no venting so installation is easy. The 24" Slope Glaze Vista Burner generates 38,000 BTU with 99.9% efficiency. The unit comes with remote ready Millivolt controls (remote purchased separately), a standing/Piezo ingitor, an oxygen depletion safety sensor, a matte black hood and louvers, and banded brick ceramic fiber liner. All that you need to add is the log set. The hem-bent seams eliminate unreliable fasteners and screws in the construction of the fireplace. The dimensions of the fireplace are 34 3/4" H x 37 5/8" W x 24" D.

How can it be vent free?

Answer:
Vent-free fireplaces use clean-burning technology that primarily releases water vapor and carbon dioxide. As such, they are safe to use in large, open rooms and even in bedrooms with limited BTU output (10,000 or less). Please be sure that your local building inspector allows installation of a vent-free gas appliance before purchasing.
