Can this shed be anchored if I do not put it on a cement pad?
By Dawn on April 29, 2014
Answer:Per the manufacturer, is recommended to be anchored down to cement. The shed comes with the necessary cement anchoring for it.
You can anchor it to a wood base. Instead of using the cement anchors it comes with, you would have to replace them with wood anchors, placing the wood anchors in the pre-drilled holes that would normally be used for the cement anchors.
The manufacturer warns against anchoring this unit to a soil (dirt) base.
The shed does need to be anchored down properly to which ever type of base it is built on.
