Whats the smallest O.D. for triple walled stainless.

By Collin on March 11, 2013

The smallest O.D. would be for the 6 inch I.D. Duraplus piping. This product has a 10 inch O.D. and requires a 2 inch clearance to combustibles.

Can this product be run horizontally? I need to vent a wood stove.

By Tyler on April 1, 2013

To use this DuraPlus class A chimney pipe with a wood stove, you can connect single- or double-wall stovepipe to the stove, and, after a rise of at least 12" (maybe more, depending on the distance to the exterior wall), use a 90-degree elbow to turn the pipe horizontally. Then, the stovepipe will be converted to the DuraPlus via the appropriately-sized wall thimble. A DuraPlus pipe length would then run horizontally through the wall and connect to a tee. From there, you would use DuraPlus pipe vertically up to at least three feet above the roof.
