Perfect tent for family camping
August 11, 2013
My family needed a tent to fit large cots for mom and dad, mattress for son, and a pack n play for the baby. This tent was perfect. It was easy to set up and take down with two people but can be done with just one. The wide and tall doors made getting in and out easy, while the large windows gave great ventilation. I was impressed with the seams and stitching in the construction. We even used the small access hole to have an electric cord to run a fan. Tall height helps in moving around and maximizing room. I would recommend using a tarp under the floor because it is thin. Not sure on the tents waterproofing since it did not rain, but heavy winds did not budge it. I am confident the tent will last a long time because of the sturdy parts and quality of construction. This tent is worth the money.

Kids Destroyed It in a Week
June 7, 2014
We set this up for the kids to “camp out” in in the back yard. They used it for a week, and when we took it apart (1) some of the poles had split, (2) some of the tabs made of Velcro had torn, (3) some of the little elastic connector thingies were broken, and (4) the tent had holes in it. I was able to get a full refund, minus the $45 it cost me to send it back. Not a very durable tent!

What's Not to Like?
August 11, 2013
I’d rate this tent a five out of five! Why? Well, let me tell you. Easy set up and tear down, easy to get back into the bag. Very pleasing look and design. Got me through a bad storm safe and dry. Fine mesh in the windows KEEPS BUGS OUT—all of them! Zippers work great as long as you treat them with respect. Rain fly does its job well without obscuring your view. You can sweep dirt right out the doors. I’m well over six feet tall and can walk all around inside and not brush my head on the ceiling! All seams are quite strong. In short, what’s not to like about it?

Easy to Assemble, but ...
January 20, 2013
Like the fact that this is easy to put together. (We practiced at home first before taking it to the campsite.) I like the design of the tent, including the divider and the fact that we were able to get five air mattresses in it with room to spare! We were disappointed with the quality overall, though. Kids were goofing around and broke one of the window zippers. We ended up having to send it back, though, because when we were taking it down one of the pole structures just fell apart—couldn’t put the tent up again without it. So, we like it, but we weren’t impressed with the quality.

We like this tent—we like the design, and it was a big part of the fact that our first camping trip was a great success! We hope to use it several years. Here’s a tip, though—protect the flooring. It’s pretty thin.

Excellent Purchase
September 12, 2011
I did a lot of research before deciding on this tent, and it was worth it. We just finished our first camping trip with it and had a good experience. It’s nice and roomy, with high walls. It’s quality construction, strong seams, good zippers, etc. I like the awning. We were able to keep the tent nice and cool during the day, but it stayed warm at night—aaahh! Lots of hooks inside for hanging stuff up out of the way. And it just looks good—I am proud to take my family camping in it! Only two minor suggestions for improvement: (1) I’d like it to have tent stake loops on the long sides just like it does on the short sides. And (2) the “privacy divider” is see-through, so it doesn’t provide any privacy. And it certainly doesn’t block sound, of course. So what’s it for? No other complaints, though, and those are pretty minor ones. I love this tent—it’s the best I’ve ever owned!

Roomy but Could Be Improved
February 9, 2011
I like the roominess of this tent and the fact that the interior divider can be removed, not just rolled up. The stakes that come with the tent, though, are way too small and weak to do the job. You should purchase some “real” stakes before camping with this tent. Flooring could be thicker—you’ll probably want to use a tarp under it. Be sure to take the awning down immediately if it starts to rain—otherwise water pools on it and the fly. I wish the zippers were metal, but I guess that would make it too heavy to lug around. I like the fact that it has two doors and that it’s large enough to stand up in.

You're Gonna Love It
February 2, 2011
If you’re looking for a large, family-sized tent that can stand up to wind and rain and keep you and your kids dry and comfy, look no further—this is the tent for you. We LOVE it! No complaints. Some people, frankly, complain about tents because they’ve created some of the problems themselves—it’s not the manufacturer’s fault! Some examples of what I’m talking about—Practice putting the tent together BEFORE you take it camping, and do it in the daytime! Carefully read and follow all the directions! (I know, it’s a pain, but so is getting confused and frustrated during the assembly process and having to start over!) Take your time and be careful as you put it together! It’s easy to get excited and hurry, and that’s how pieces get broken and walls get torn. When you first take it out of the bag, notice how it’s folded. (You might want to take a picture or two!) Then you can get it back in the bag again when you’re through. (Yes, it can be done!) Guess I’ll stop now, but can you tell that I love and recommend this tent!?

Really Pleased
January 3, 2011
I’m really pleased with the purchase of this tent and would say if you’re looking for a tent of this size, you should try it. A few comments based on my experiences: It’s well constructed. I like the fact that the lines are stored in a pocket. I like having the window and door covers open for nice ventilation. Size of the tent is really large—and very high! I can walk around in it without having to duck my head. Assembly was easy—I did it without help in less than 20 minutes. Considering its large size, it’s lightweight. Suggestion to the company—Sew the directions on the bag so they don’t get lost or blow away.

Get a Tarp for the Floor
August 15, 2010
Why do they make the floor material of the same stuff the walls are made of? It’s too thin—and it’s a light color, so it shows all the dirt! Ours ended up stained after one trip, and it makes the tent always look kind of unkempt. If you buy one of these, plan to take steps to protect the floor! That’s really my only complaint.

Buy with Confidence
July 17, 2010
I have a lot of respect for this company’s products. As a Scoutmaster, I’ve gone on a lot of camping trips with a lot of boys, and they can be pretty rough on the equipment! These products have always stood the test well. Some recommendations/advice—Plan on replacing the carrying bag. I use a zippered golf bag, works great. Practice setting it up before you actually take it camping. Buy some heavy-duty stakes rather than the ones that come with the tent—they just won’t do the job. Use a tarp to protect the floor, which is pretty thin. Great tent, nice and high, good quality zippers and reinforced seams…. Highly recommended!

Great Family Memories!
September 26, 2009
This tent is made from quality fabric. The storage bag was torn when we got it from one of the poles puncturing it. :( I’ve had to take extra steps to protect the flooring, which is quite thin. I’ve put a tarp and carpet down inside, and that’s worked well. This is a big tent, and it works well for our family of six. It’s held up well during some wind storms, but you do need to be sure the guy wires are tight and pegged down well. It’s kept us dry in the rain and seems to hold heat well—which is good if it’s a cool night, not so great if it’s 80 degrees out! We’ve had no trouble with the zippers, and I really like the e-power port. If I had it to do over again, I’d buy it again! We’ve had a lot of fun in this tent and made some great family memories!

Have Used It for Three Years
February 8, 2009
We’ve used this tent for three years or so now for several trips every year, and it’s holding up well. Dislikes: Wind can be an issue because of the height of the sides. Stake it down well! Door zipper can be frustrating—it’s too easy to zip up the flap in the zipper—no fun on a dark, rainy night when you’re coming back from a bathroom trip! Likes: Sturdy carrying case that the tent fits back into easily. Lots of room! (We use three queen air mattresses in it.) We’re very pleased with it and like I say, have used it for over three years now.
