You Can Get a Better Tent For Less
I've owned one of these tents for almost ten years and have been very happy with it. I purposefully bought this tent because it was the same brand as the one I already had, but had a different design that I liked better. But almost as soon as I set this tent up, which was very easy to do, I began to notice quality problems with it. The first thing I noticed was that it had two inches of missing stitching, which I dismissed as an anomaly because I really wanted to keep the tent. However, after that, I realized the tent also had several small holes. At this point, I started to become skeptical about that tent. Still, though, I wanted to keep the tent because it was so easy to set up and because I could already tell that it had amazing ventilation. So I took on a camping trip the next week to Canada. It set up easily again, and held up okay to the rain we had that week. It wasn't great, but it did well for our three night trip. After the trip, I decided to keep the tent. But after getting home, I noticed that the tent was literally falling apart. When I realized could get a tent of comparable quality for so much less from a big box store, there was just no way I could justify keeping this one. With much disappointment, I returned this tent. I use to trust this brand, but their quality seems to be slipping, or perhaps they're allowing other tent makers to use sell under their brand. Whatever the case, this tent is not worth the price and, sadly, I cannot recommend it.
