The poke up rod is one of the features that make vista peak top party tents unique. When you assemble and attach the poke-up rod be sure to remove the endpin located inside the tube and then put in the pin in the top end of the pole and then secure. The pulley bar gets inserted in the other end which get secured with a bolt. The top pin gets pushed through the ring in the peak of the tent. After removing the copy you roll the pulley insert on the cable toward the center. And roll the pulley insert on the top cable. Pull down on the other cable at the center and fit it into the bottom slot. Eureka Tents manufacture the poke up pole.
