Read the Fine Print

Even though search results put this with 4-person tents, the description tells you that itís only made for 2 people to sleep in. Works well for 2.

Does the Trick
July 10, 2013
I needed a tent I could pack on my backpack. This one isnít quite that, but its price is a lot better than that of real backpack tents. Itís a bit bulky, but light enough to work. Piece of a cake to set up too.

Mediocre Directions, Good Tent
July 10, 2013
The setup directions were a bit lacking, and it took us 20 minutes to put up the tent. Setup is easy enough and takes less time with 2 people, though. The tent has lots of space, and itís very durable. Its large size prevents it from being ideal in more rugged camping situations, but it works really well for common campsites.

Great for Camping Trips
July 10, 2013
This tent did well for us on a 7-day trip. My wife and I could stay inside comfortably, but thereís not a lot of extra space for camping equipment. Itís pretty light and easy to put up. On the whole, itís a very durable tent that deals well with inclement weather. Canít complain for the amount of money I spent on it.

Too Small for Me
July 10, 2013
Unfortunately, this tent isnít big enough for me. It seems more appropriate for children. The manufacturer is good, though.

Keeps Me Dry
July 10, 2013
The rain seems to follow me everywhere I camp, but this tent always keeps me 100% dry! It fits 2 people easily and has plenty of room for storage including a couple of stash pockets. Itís also a cinch to put together. Very reasonably priced. Iím very pleased.

Roomy!
July 10, 2013
This tent is great! It has plenty of extra room for well-built, burly guys. Itís also very sturdy and is easy to set up and take down.

Great Purchase
July 10, 2013
Iím very satisfied with this tentócanít beat it for the money. It has plenty of room for 2 adults and a mid-size dog. Itís pretty waterproof too. There were only a couple of extreme instances where it admitted a little moisture. The first time was on a mountain ridge in a cloud, and the other was in the snow. I recommend putting a tarp under it to keep the bottom from ripping or getting holes.

Trail Tested Success
July 10, 2013
This tent worked wonderfully for our recent overnight hiking trip. My hiking partner and I were able to divide the tent parts between us for a light load, and the tent was really easy to put up at nightóeven when we were tired from a long day of hiking. The tent is very roomy as well. We didnít have to worry about rolling into each otherís space during the night. Another great feature is the bowl-like design of the tent floor. This ensured that unwelcome insects and creepy-crawly animals didnít get inside and surprise us in the middle of the night. All around, this tent was a great deal for the money. I appreciate being able to rely on this site for my outdoor purchases.

Converted Camper
July 8, 2013
I didnít grow up camping out and was never really into it until my son became a Scout and I ended up getting drafted to go with him and his troop. Iíve gone a few times now and really like itóand I really like this tent, too! Itís easy to put together. The only negative (and itís a pretty big one) is that when we got the tent, one of the tie-downs for the fly had been manufactured wrong, making it impossible to secure the fly. I sent it back and have waited almost a month now . . . no news from the company. However, the tent itself is great, and we ended up being creative and using a tarp as the fly. In short, the design is great but their quality control could be better!

Wind Concerns
July 8, 2013
On our first trip with this tent we were pretty concerned because the wind kept pulling the stakes out of the ground. Argh! Frustrating and kind of embarrassing, since other tents at the site werenít popping stakes. No, it didnít collapse, but being worried about it made it hard for me to sleep. Also, it stormed and some of the seams leaked. Positives: Lots of storage space, easy to put together.

Camping in the Ereka Tetragon
October 22, 2012
Have now spent three nights in the tent, one with moderate rain and heavy mosquitoes while at the Oshkosh Airshow. I had previously sealed the seams with Kenyon seam sealant. I was dry and bug-less all night. A nice, light tent that is easy to put up. The orientation of the rain fly can be confusing on a windy night. The "bathtub" floor has a seam down its middle. It would probably leak if not sealed.
Pros:
Light, dry, easy to put up. I like the suspended mesh pouch for small items and the large window openings.
Cons:
Rain fly orientation can be confusing. Assembled poles are very long and cumbersome

No good
June 4, 2011
Set it up in the back yard to test it out. It rained that night. The sides kept the rain out. The bottom did not. It seems to be the same material as the walls and rain fly but if you put pressure on those, the water beads through. All the water from the rain that soaked into the ground came up through the bottom and soaked our sleeping bags. Not using that again.
Pros:
It's lightweight, it stood up to some nasty South Dakota wind, the rain fly is a great design and works really well, it looks good, super easy set up and take down.
Cons:
The material of the floor is junk and lets water through.
