This fireplace system allows you to install the firebox at floor level with the hearth level only 1.5 inches above the ground. You get everything you need to install a custom-design firebox, including a masonry style damper and smoker chamber, high-temperature mortar, and templates with individual precut and labeled bricks. The herringbone pattern used in the brick layout creates a unique look, not only in the basic layout but also in the use of narrow bricks. The black finish along with the black grate and andirons that come with the kit add a classic look to the entire fireplace.
