Does the unit have a thermostat? Is a remote control available?

The unit has automatic thermostat control. The remote control is available for purchase separately, though it is not on our site.

1. Is there a fan for controlling heat flow?
2. How can it be vent free? Won't the fumes back up into the room?

The blower accessory can be found here.

Vent free appliances burn the gas so efficiently that no vent pipe is required. The only combustion by products of the stove, if properly installed, is water vapor and carbon dioxide.

This unit does not include a hand held remote.
