We have a firebox with a 12" depth, 18" in the back, 29" in the front. We do not like the look of the Peterson logs. Do you have anything else that will fit a shallow firebox?

We do offer several reduced depth coal baskets that can be used in place of a traditional log set. A good example is the Aspen Industries Black Reduced Depth Vented Gas Coal Basket with Electronic Ignition and Remote Control - Propane - B-401-109-LP. This style of coal basket is available in both natural gas and propane, depending on your needs.
