Item Description
Ask & Answer
Backpacking can be an exciting adventure, but with the wrong equipment, a camping trip can turn into a nightmare. This backpacking tent from Giga Tent is lightweight and easy to install. The simple 4-pole construction makes set up and tear down a breeze, and the fiberglass poles are still very durable. The large design allows 5-6 people to sleep in this tent, and the breathable material allows for ventillation while the fly offers protection from precipitation during inclement weather.

Zipper Doesn’t Last Long
The zipper on the tent door broke after only two nights of use. I returned it, and they sent me a new one, but the same thing happened. Cheap tent with a cheap zipper.

Weak Zipper
This is basically a junk disposable tent. I bought one that lasted 2 backpacking trips before the zipper broke. I sent it back and they replaced it for free, however, the second zipper only lasted 3 more camping trips before it broke too. I guess you get what you pay for.
Prosdirt cheap reasonably decent upper fabric
Consbad zipper floor is tarp material poor overall quality

Displeased With the Tent Zipper
The zipper broke on the first night, and there was nothing we could do to fix it! I wanted to alert the manufacturer to my bad experience, but I couldn’t find its site on the Internet. Can’t recommend this tent.
