Your SunSetter’s hardware is made from rust-proof, aircraft-quality aluminum,
with a baked enamel finish that will never need painting. That makes your awning
light-weight yet very strong. We don’t suggest you sit on your SunSetter
awning, but it’s strong enough that you could! SunSetter's Lateral-Arm awnings
(Motorized or VISTA models) use a sophisticated double cable system for smooth,
reliable operation. SunSetter's Somfy® electric motor is the best in the
industry.
- 100% Waterproof Fabric Blocks over 99% of harmful UV Rays
SunSetter's multi-layers fabric is superior to ordinary awning fabrics in
quality, strength, pigmentation and more. While some awning fabrics are not
completely waterproof, SunSetter's awnings are!. While some awning fabrics
don’t block out the majority of harmful UV rays, SunSetter's awnings block out
over 99%. And while many awning fabrics will fade and pick up dirt, SunSetter
awnings will hold their color and they are easy to keep clean, too!

- SunSetter’s multilayer fabric is superior to ordinary awning fabrics in
quality, strength, thicker pigmentation and more. They are 100%
waterproof and block out harmful UV rays.
- SunSetter's 14 oz., 1000 Denier fabric has double-sided
color and five layers for maximum strength, protection, and
fade-resistance.
- A coat of acrylic protects against UV degradation and
scratches on top, and provides an easy-to-clean surface.
- A thick, 5.5-mil vinyl pigmentation layer helps colors stay
true and fade resistant for years.
- The innermost layer is 1000 x 1000 Denier scrim— made with
industrial-grade round filament Dacron for superior wear and
strength.
- There’s an additional 5.5-mil layer of vinyl
pigmentation on the underside.
- Another coat of acrylic guards the underside.
- In summary, SunSetter awning's vinyl has the thickest
pigmentation you can buy, and two coats of acrylic to give you
99.9% UVA and UVB protection, as tested and confirmed by two
independent laboratories.

Stripes Make Awnings Brighter and Cooler...
All our decorator stripe patterns are purposely designed to become
lighter in color toward the top, changing to solid cream at the
upper section. This helps keep temperatures under the awning cooler,
and lets in more light under the canopy.
