Hy-C Stainless Chimney CapThese specially priced stainless steel chimney caps have a unique corner installation feature. Notice that the slotted hex-head mounting bolts are indented into each corner of the chimney cap's base. These give the chimney caps an even, secure grip against the flue tile.
The bottom edges of the mesh screens of the Hy-C chimney caps are folded inward. This provides a complete, firm base resting on the flue tile. Even the most clever raccoon won't work his way under these chimney caps!
The stainless steel Hy-C chimney caps have a lifetime warranty. Constructed of 304 stainless steel, these chimney caps have a 24-ga. single-piece top with smooth rolled edges. The Hy-C stainless steel chimney caps have 18-ga. mesh screens. The chimney caps' screens are 6 1/2 inches high with a standard 3/4 inch mesh screen.
