Will this item fit the Empire Breckenridge VF Firebox Select 42" Flush Face?

Answer:
No, this cabinet door kit is only for use with the Majestic 42" VFH series fireplace, such as this unit:

VFH 42" Ventless Fireplace with Triple Play Burner and Blazing Oak Logs - Natural Gas

For complete installation, you would also need the arched front and cabinet door frame, found below:

As for the 42" Breckenridge Select series, it also features an optional arched door frame and arched doors, available separately from the unit itself. For a few examples, please see the "Accessories" tab on the item page for this 42" Breckenridge model:
