A fireplace hood mounts on the top of your firebox to deflect the heat of the fireplace from your surround and mantel and project it into the room where you want it. This keeps your mantel and surround looking nicer for a longer period of time. This hood comes in an attractive Iron Age finish, but other finishes are also available to match or to accent the color of the fireplace surround.
