I want to retrofit my current grill with this burner and want to know how it hooks to the propane tank. Does it use a separate hose connection? Does the unit mount to the back of the grill?

Answer:
Here is the information provided to us by the manufacturer:

"The rear burner has a separate hose that hooks directly into the valve on the grill. MHP grills have this two way valve already in place. All you have to do is remove a little cap. This may not work with a non-MHP grills. That line supplies the burner when the knob on the burner is turned on, so it would not hook directly into the propane tank.

The mounting is going to be a little more difficult to explain. The brackets for these burners are made to connect to the corresponding mounting holes on MHP grills. When the grills were originally designed MHP wasn't envisioning the burners being sold with anything but MHP grills. So any mounting issues would have to be dealt with by the end user if not mounting to another MHP. He will probably have to drill to get it mounted correctly as they are not made to be universal."
