A vent free firebox is a great choice if you don't want to bother with chimney or vent installations. This 42" model by Monessen features a black hood and a junction box. It comes with either a cottage clay firebrick or 3D ceramic firebrick that is factory installed. The firebox is CSA design certified for use with 18", 24" or 30" vent free gas log sets. The gas line may enter on either right or left side of the box. Either gas or propane may be used. This item is just the firebox-gas logs are not included.
