Great Fireplace

The product was shipped really fast and with free shipping, you can't beat it! Some of the info on the manufacturers website stated that the unit could be mounted somewhat flush with only 2" sticking out. However, I custom built a wall to hang the unit on and made sure that there was some spacing around the unit. However, I made sure the spacing was small enough for the outer glass to cover. Once I got the unit and looked at the manual, it clearly states that this unit should not be flush mounted with only 2" sticking out, as the heat comes out from the upper part of the unit and it's the part that most would mount inside the wall. I was lucky that I have a brick and tile wall so I'm not too worried about it, but I would only run the heat for 20min or so. I certainly wouldn't leave it on as it does get very hot. Hanging the unit so that it was inside the wall and level, was a little harder than I expected but I did everything by myself. It would have been much easier with two people as the manual suggests. Overall, I'm happy with the unit! The unit looks good, the flame looks great and I'm happy with the purchase!
