As in any vent installation, the vent terminal is just as important as the rest of the vent system that is inside the house. This vent terminal is square in shape, and is a vinyl siding shield to protect the exterior of your house from the vent's heat. It will also cap the vent and keep it from being damaged by wind or weather. This item is appropriate for use with 4" x 7" Napoleon direct vent systems, but it is not suitable for use with the Napoleon Starfire direct vent gas fireplaces.
