How long can I stretch this 10 foot flexible tube (GD630). The distance from the top of my fireplace to the roof flashing is only 9 feet without any bending. I think my contractor is over stretching it to 15 feet, and then he plans to cut it to size. Should he just compress it back to length instead of cutting it?

Answer:
This vent kit can only expand to a 10-foot length. If you need more than 10 feet of vent pipe, you can use the 5-foot venting kit which you can see here:
