My fireplace is two sided and measures out to 23.5 inches wide, 20.5 inches high, and 24.5 inches deep. I would like to get a new one that is thermostatically controlled with a remote and that has a very high BTU output. Which style of gas logs are better? Vented or Ventless?

Answer:For heat output, ventless gas logs would be a better choice. They provide much better heat output than vented gas logs and vent-free gas logs are much more suitable for heating a room or home than vented logs.
However, burning fuel cleanly produces moisture, so ventless gas logs introduce some moisture into the home's atmosphere. Also, burning vent-free gas logs gradually depletes the oxygen in an enclosed area, so burning them for long periods of time requires cracking a window to allow in oxygen and some cold air that can offset some heating benefits.
