The additional glow given off by these embers really set off the whole experience of the gas logs. No more cleaning ashes but it looks like you have them during a fire

I really do not know how these things work but they are just great. They make the gas log fire look so realistic. I only hope that some day I can figure out just what it is that makes them glow just like real embers in a real fire.
