Rutland Fireplace Mortar - 10.3 Ounce Cartridge - 63

Is your fireplace beginning to show signs of wear? You can make your own minor repairs with this fireplace mortar. The mortar is ideal for patching fireboxes and joining masonry to masonry. A single layer can repair cracks up to 1/8" deep. It becomes as hard as firebrick when heat cured and is able to withstand 2,000 degrees F. The mortar is easy to blend, since it comes in three colors and can be painted after curing. The cartridge fits into any standard caulking gun and can cover approximately 99 linear feet with a 1/8" bead.
