See-Thru, Island, & Peninsula Fireplaces

Different homes call for different means of heat. Some of the more specialized heating needs you'll run into can be addressed here in the See Thru, Island, and Peninsula Fireplaces section. Any situation where the fireplace is exposed, where the fireplace is free-standing in the middle of a room, or any other non-traditional setup where a fireplace simply isn't mounted into a wall in the usual fashion are perfect places for these unique units. If you already have one of these setups in your home, or if you want the interesting and visually arresting style a unique setup creates, the See Thru, Island, and Peninsula Fireplaces section is the place you need to be.

Does the Vantage VGL36STP Propane Gas fireplace Venting, B Vent need to be vented through the roof? I have two of these fireplaces, can both fireplaces be vented through the same B Vent? One fireplace is on the main floor and the other is directly above it on the second floor.

Both of your Vantage Hearth VGL36ST See-Through Smooth Face B-Vent Propane Fireplace will require their own 6" diameter B-Vent gas pipe. Yes, these must run vertically and terminate over your roof line, per the venting section of the owner's manual (see page 7).
