This canopy features a sturdy beam welded tubular steel frame with an innovative collapsible design that makes it easy to set up and take down. The powder coated finish won't chip, peel or weather. The joints are made of high performance synthetic materials and feature lock nut construction. The legs are adjustable for heights from 68" to 77" and the slant leg design gives it a sporty look. The valence is cover is UV treated inside and out with fade blockers as well as anti-aging and anti-fungal agents for superb longevity. An inside lining of polyurethane is attached with double stitching. In addition, the seams are sealed with waterproof tape for a drip-free seam. A rugged storage bag is included.

ShelterLogic 8 x 8 Red Pop Up Canopy Tent

I wanted inexpensive shade protection for my side deck, which is only 8 ft deep, so I had to forgo the more popular 10 x 10 tents. The tent arrived in good time, and was reasonably easy to assemble. We screwed it down to the deck, and it has withstood a major windstorm since then. It seems to be well-constructed and it looks nice.

I wish it had occurred to me to put some 2 x 4 extensions on my deck to accommodate the 10 x 10 model. The smaller tent doesn't really protect that well from the sun. Perhaps in the summer, when the sun is higher in the sky, it will be more effective.

Overall good experience.
