Types of Shelters

This is an extremely broad category, but there are definitely some basic types of outdoor structures to consider. In this section you can look at party-planning shelters like pole tents, frame tents, Vista Peak models, Star Shade canopies, pop up canopies, and many, many more. Most shelters of this type are dedicated to people who are interested in planning weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and the like, or to people who frequent craft fairs, outdoor festivals, business expos, tailgates, and related events. Again, many of these canopies have more than one use, this is intended simply to provide a quick insight into how many outdoor enthusiasts choose to use these smaller shelters.

There are accessories and add-ons that add structural stability, some that essentially create an enclosed semi-permanent outdoor building, and others that add an elegant visual element to whatever image you’re trying to create for an important outdoor event. Almost every canopy of every type can be improved upon in some way with the right accessory, and almost every manufacturer you can think of has a complete line of accessories that are appropriate for use with the various models they produce.
