Confusing Assembly
This is an entry-level product that does what it is supposed to. It was confusing to assemble because the rods are different lengths and you have to be careful to get the correct rod for the tool.

Multiple Pieces a Weakness
We haven?€™t been happy with how the tools function. The handles screw on to the rods, so it?€™s very easy to unscrew them as you?€™re using the tool. What?€™s more, the poker head doesn?€™t fit its rod very well. It will often loosen as we?€™re using it to move a piece of wood. I think we?€™re going to have to weld the pieces together. I suggest you find tools that are one solid piece.

Light Use
I rarely burn wood in my fireplace, but when I do I need a tool set that is sturdy enough to handle the job. This set is nice for those like me that need a set that is for light use. If I were needing a set on a daily basis, I probably would have purchased a more durable set.

No Complaints
For the price I paid for this set, I certainly can't complain. It is a very simple, sturdy set that is functional. The brush is just okay, but overall a functional tool set.

No Stability Issues
I bought this fireplace tool set for my rental property. I'm not planning on staying here for long, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a set of tools. These were just as advertised and I am having NO stability issues on a tile floor.

Some Flaws
Not everyone seems to be having the trouble that I am having, but there are a few reviews with my complaint. The handle on the poker tends to rotate as you are using it and loosen the handle from the tool. If your handles rotate or seem loose, you could weld the pieces together. If you can spot weld, that would work, too. If you want to take a chance with this set because of the low price and overall function, just keep in mind that you can tweak the product if you have the same problems. Personally, I don't think a customer should have to do this work, but that the manufacturer should make some improvements.

Decent Product
If you just want to have a set of tools to go with a fireplace and do not care if they are cheap or not, then this is the set of tools that you should get. I am not particularly satisfied with this set of tools and expect to get rid of it shortly. Hopefully the next set I get will not require the same amount of doctoring I needed to do to keep this set functioning.

As Advertised
This basic set of tools is just as advertised and I am very happy with the purchase. I am not sure if they will last for the grandkids, but they do a fine job just as I expected.

This set does not add to the beauty of the hearth, but it is a sturdy and usable set that does what I need it to do.

I have an electric fireplace, so I use this set as purely decorative. It looks great and fits the small space just right. I really appreciated the price - the charm that it added to my fireplace was worth it.

More Than Adequate
The product shipped quickly and it?€™s proven to be very good. The tools function very well. They?€™re well priced and the quality is just as good as many higher priced sets. We?€™ve put them to good use so far during the cold snap.

Nice for Display
I have a gas fireplace, but I love the look of these tools on the hearth. They look really nice, but I'm not sure of how well they would perform.

Nice Price
The price on this set is wonderful for the quality of the product. We used this same set for over 25 years and it did well for us. We are hoping for the same great quality in this set.

Just Okay
This fireplace set looks and works okay, but I must admit I didn't pay much for it. It delivers adequate functionality, but I can hardly believe that this set is "triple plated".

Excellent Value
This purchase was an excellent value! The stand and the poker are made of cast iron, so they are very solid and function well. The shovel and broom are lighter in weight, but are still quite acceptable for the price that I paid. Some easy assembly required.

Follow the Instructions Carefully
Putting this fireplace set together was a challenge, but in the end I am very happy with my new fireplace tool set. The rods are of varying lengths and you must be careful to use the correct rod with the appropriate tool head. You will notice that the rods are numbered in the instructions but the heads of the tools do not have numbers on them, so follow the instructions closely. To locate the rod for the stand, look for the rod with the longest threads. Perhaps this is why some folks are having trouble with stability problems - perhaps they are pairing the wrong rods with the tool heads. The instructions called for three nuts, but I could only locate two and the diagram only shows using two. If you follow the assembly instructions you should end up with a product that is sturdy and usable.

Smaller Than Anticipated
I was initially disappointed with the tool set because of its size. What really made this set unacceptable was that one of the tools actually broke in transit.
